OUR STORY
SOME FLAVORS ARE TOO GOOD TO BE FORGOTTEN
Rouxle Rouge started with a simple realization: some of the Creole dishes I grew up with were becoming harder and harder to find.
Traveling around South Louisiana, I kept seeing the familiar classics—red beans, gumbo, étouffée, and fried seafood. They're staples for a reason, but they didn't tell the whole story of the food that shaped my childhood.
I missed the crawfish pistolettes I grabbed from the corner store after school. I missed the croquettes my Ummie fried every Friday during Lent and the smell of Pop's catfish couvillion filling the house after a day of fishing.
Those weren't just meals. They were memories. They were family. They were home.

HEY Y'ALL, I'M BRITTANY
I grew up in South Louisiana surrounded by real Creole cooking—the kind of flavors you don't always stumble upon at the famous tourist spots.
From slow-simmered beans and rich gumbo to jambalaya and the comfort foods we grew up on, food has always been about more than what's on the plate. It's about family, memories, community, and the traditions passed from one generation to the next.
Rouxle Rouge is my way of sharing that with you.
I want every dish we serve to capture a little of the soul, spice, and heart of Louisiana while helping preserve the foods and traditions that mean so much to me.
